NFL trims $25,000 off James Harrison fine (AP)

AP – The NFL has reduced the fine levied on Steelers linebacker James Harrison for his Oct. 17 hit on Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi from $75,000 to $50,000.

Seahawks look to be the league’s lucky losers (Reuters)

Reuters – A team with a losing record could find itself in the National Football League’s playoffs if the Seattle Seahawks (6-9) can beat the St. Louis Rams (7-8) in the final round of regular season games on Sunday.

Ex-mayor who brought Rangers to Texas dies at 84 (AP)

Low Sugar, Diabetic, Atkins-Friendly, Low Carb, Low Fat, Winter, Spring, New Year, Fall, Easy, Soup, Main Dish, American, Chicken, Dinner, Lunch, Savory

8 cups Water
3 Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
1 tbsp Seasoned Salt to taste
6 tbsps Chicken bouillon
1 tsp Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Garlic minced, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning to taste
2 cans Mixed vegetables drained
1/2 pkg Wide noodles
1 tbsp Dried minced onion or onion flakes

This is simple – put water, chicken and seasonings into large pot. Cover and cook over medium heat until chicken is done (about 1 hour to be safe). Remove chicken from pot let cool a bit and then cut into pieces. Return chicken to pot along with canned vegetable and noodles. Let cook until noodles are done (about 20 minutes). Serve.
